My approach to therapy
My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens in the safety of a supportive and trusting relationship. This means we work together in a way that is collaborative, respectful, and always honours your pace.
I do not take a one size fits all approach because everyone is unique. I am mindful of how past experiences, especially those that have felt painful, overwhelming, or left you feeling alone, may continue to shape how you feel and navigate relationships today. Sometimes our work might focus on understanding thoughts and emotions, and other times we may pay attention to how experiences are showing up in your body. What matters most is that we stay present and curious about what is happening within you and between us. The relationship we build together is not just a backdrop. It is a vital part of the work, offering a space where patterns of protection, disconnection, or longing can be gently explored and understood.

Our
work
together
Starting therapy or beginning with a new therapist can bring uncertainty. You might wonder how we begin or what it may feel like to share parts of yourself that have been quietly carried for a long time. Some people arrive feeling unsure of where to start and prefer to take things slowly. Others come feeling full, needing to release it. However you arrive is exactly how it is meant to be for you. We begin with what feels possible and move together from there.
Whether it is making sense of what feels stuck or heavy, untangling confusion or disconnection, or finding space to pause and reflect, this is something we navigate together.
